Terms of Use
A short, readable overview of how photographs and other content from World of Bacteria may be used.
Last updated: July 5, 2026
In simple terms
World of Bacteria is free to view and use for personal study. Teachers and students may show the photographs during live teaching. We also welcome small thumbnail previews that link directly back to the original World of Bacteria pages.
However, the photographs may not be copied, republished, redistributed, uploaded to other platforms, included in databases, used in e-learning materials, used for AI training, or used commercially without prior written permission.
This helps us keep the atlas freely accessible, protect the original photographic work, and continue creating new educational content.
This is a simplified summary of our Terms of Use. It does not replace the full Terms of Use and does not grant any rights beyond those stated in the full version.
